Sophie Gauthier practices family law at Verdon, Armanda, Gauthier, Lawyers. She is recognized for advancing family law through the organization of several training activities, conferences and events in addition to being involved with her professional order since the beginning of her practice by sitting on the Boards of Directors of the Jeune barreau de Québec, the Barreau du Québec and as administrator on the General Council of the Barreau du Québec. She is credited, in particular, for creating the Programme d’assistance parentale pour les membres travailleurs autonomes (APTA) for which she fought for several years.
