The City of Québec attends ASAE Springtime Expo 2015

Three delegates from the Québec City Business Destination unified sales force, Marie-Elaine Lemieux from the Québec City Convention Centre, Marylène L’Heureux from Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, and Suzanne Roy from Québec City Business Destination, proudly represented the Québec City region at Springtime Expo, held April 9, 2015, at the Walter E. Washington D.C. Convention Center.

Held annually by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Springtime Expo drew over 1,500 people this year to visit some of the 348 organizations, mainly convention destinations, at 468 stands.

Québec City Business Destination was there as a partner of Business Events Canada (BEC), a division of the Canadian Tourism Commission tasked with promoting Canada as a venue for meetings, conventions, and business trips. The booth co-staffed by these two organizations drew hundreds of visitors interested in everything Québec City has to offer.

With the U.S. economy picking up, we’re confident their efforts will result in more trips to Québec City and more conventions in the coming years.
