For the very first time in the history of the Québec Games, 3,300 athletes from 19 Québec delegations who will participate in the 54th Final of the Québec Games from March 1 to 9, 2019, will live under the same roof! The Québec City Convention Centre will be known as “Centrale des Jeux Hydro-Québec” for the duration of the event and will transform into a huge athletes’ village.

“We have accepted the wonderful challenge of creating an exciting and vibrant athletes’ village where all services will be available on site. For example, a number of rooms will be converted into dormitories, and 50 showers will be built to accommodate athletes and coaches who don’t have access to changing rooms at the competition venues. Our valued visitors will also enjoy a huge cafeteria as well as games, entertainment, and relaxation areas on site,” said Pierre-Michel Bouchard, co-chair of the Final and CEO of the Convention Centre.
