To encourage visitors to explore Québec City’s restaurants and tourist attractions, the Québec City Convention Centre is pleased to announce a brand-new program for conference and convention attendees: Enjoy Your Badge! Thanks to exclusive partnerships with various establishments (restaurants and attractions) around the city, event attendees will benefit from discounts and special promotions—simply by showing their badges at participating businesses. Over 25 different establishments have already signed up for the program.
The Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Annual Conference and Tradeshow, which took place from May 30 to June 2 and welcomed over 3000 attendees, was the perfect time to launch the program. The event’s participants took advantage of the program’s exclusive offers to discover Québec City’s best restaurants and tourist attractions.
“We test the concept during the 54th Final of the Québec Games this winter as well as the FBINAA last summer. Because it was such a huge success, we decided to off this program throughout the year. The Centre caters to over 200 000 event attendees per year. This program will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the city’s tourism industry and local economy,” explained the Québec City Convention Centre’s President and CEO,
Mr. Pierre-Michel Bouchard.
