The Québec City Convention Centre is pleased to be hosting and helping to organize Québec City’s first International Business Growth Forum.
Held from July 5 to 7, 2016, the forum—an “idea lab” in the making—is expected to draw some 200 entrepreneurs and economic actors from Canada, Europe, and the United States to discuss their ideas for accelerating business growth and entrepreneurial development. These business leaders will share their experiences and discuss the challenges of growing a business (innovation, financing, risk).
With its mandate to create business opportunities, the Québec City Convention Centre has teamed up with Québec City’s Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Québec International to organize this forum for fast-growing small and medium-sized businesses from all over the world.
Québec City’s International Forum will be based on the World Entrepreneurship Forum (WEnF) held in China in October 2015. Officers from the three organizations—the Convention Centre’s Pierre Michel Bouchard, Alain Aubut from the Chamber of Commerce, and Line Lagacé from Québec International—were in China for the event and took advantage of the opportunity to establish a partnership with WEnF organizers. The partnership gives them access to a global network and positions the Québec Forum as the only event of its kind in North America.
The three-day Forum agenda includes tours of local businesses, case studies, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and distinguished speakers.
