The Québec City Convention Centre is gearing up for bountiful harvest of conferences, shows, and meetings this fall, with over 30,000 delegates expected at the 33 conferences, meetings, and shows on tap for the season.
All these attendees will make a significant contribution to the city’s thriving business tourism sector, generating 50,000 room-nights at Québec City hotels and pumping an estimated $32 million into the local economy.
Teams at the Convention Centre will have their hands full with event hospitality and logistics, particularly in October.
No sooner does the Convention Centre see off the Fédération québécoise des municipalités and their convention than the 3rd International Summit of Cooperatives arrives with its 2,000 decision-makers and managers, business leaders and stakeholders from 93 different countries.
Events continue thick and fast, such as BÉNÉFIQ 2016, the Congrès 2016 de l'Ordre des hygiénistes dentaires du Québec, the Canadian Chemical Engineering (CSChE) Conference, the Québec Veterinary Conference, the FSSS–CSN Conference, Québec City Comiccon, and Cartoon Connection Canada and Pixel Animation.
