The Société du Centre des congrès de Québec is pleased to announce that, following a lengthy public tender process, the contract for the operation of its kitchens as well as equipment maintenance and food services has been awarded to Capital HRS Inc. The company and its team will thus continue to provide exclusive catering services for the Québec City Convention Centre.
Following an informational tour for interested companies on September 5, 2019, the call for tenders was launched on the Government of Quebec’s Electronic Tendering System (SEAO). Nine companies purchased the tender documents.
Two companies submitted bids by the bid deadline on December 4. After studying both bids, the selection committee, made up of members from both inside and outside the corporation, recommended that the contract be awarded to Capital HRS Inc. The new contract will take effect on February 1, 2019.
