The Québec City Convention Centre’s culinary brigade, led by executive chef Gérard Michel, has been hard at work for weeks in order to offer the 2,000 people attending the 2012 Fédération Québécoise des Municipalités (FQM) convention an unforgettable gourmet experience. It’s heating up in the Convention Centre kitchens
Executive chef Gérard Michel and his team are in high gear preparing dishes created especially for the event by five guest chefs from Mauricie, Fred Chappuis, Patrick Gérôme, Alain Pénot, Justine Prud’homme, and Alain Garceau. Plus, the guest chefs are on site to prepare the 8,000 amuse-bouches that will be served to the 1,000 guests at noon on Thursday, September 27. In all, the kitchen brigade will have cooked 4,215 meals throughout the three days of activities.
